Andrea Anders

Anders was originally birthed in Madison and grew up in DeForest. But, she is currently living in Los Angeles. She graduated in 1993 from DeForest Area Highschool located in DeForest Wisconsin. And in 1997, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. In 2001, she received an M.A. in Fine Arts from Rutgers University. From 2006 to 2015, Anders and her former Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc, who met on set of the show that was cancelled, dated. The director's brother is Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Anders started her stage career in 2001. She was an understudy for Mary Louise Parker in the Broadway production of Proof and later, she played her role as Elaine Robinson in The Graduate. On the Jump was her debut appearance on the Arena Stage. New Doors occurred in the Guthrie Theater. There were two New York Stage & Film productions, namely Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody were also staged in the hands of New York Stage & Film. Anders began in May 2007 in her first Geffen Playhouse production of Fat Pig. She was the character Jeannie an accountant Fat Pig closed on July 1st, 2007. Anders made her debut in a commercial for television on Dannon in the late 1990s. Then again, around 2006. Anders has been a part of Joey since the beginning, playing Alex Garrett the lawyer and The Class (nee Campbell) as Nicole Allen - an ex footballer's wife. The two series ended up being cancelled despite her appearance in each episode. Anders appeared in guest roles on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light as well as Tru Calling. In 2003, she was Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. She also made minor appearances in The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather and Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders appeared on Numb3rs in 2008 too. Anders is also featured on two failed TV pilots. Spellbound and News To Me. Anders was cast most recently on Better Off Ted. It is an ABC single camera comedy that focuses on the work-related environment, created by Victor Fresco.
